Christopher Poliquin, DBA
Christopher W. Poliquin is an Assistant Professor of Strategy at the UCLA Anderson School of Management. His research examines corporate political engagement and public policy, with a focus on firearm policy. His work on how mass shootings affect gun laws, the impact of handgun waiting periods, and how consumers respond to corporate advocacy for background checks has been published in leading academic journals, including the Journal of Public Economics, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, and Strategic Management Journal. Beyond academia, Professor Poliquin has served as an expert witness assisting states in defending the constitutionality of waiting period laws.
